So, for the recipe, you will need:

  • finely ground almond flour
  • shredded mozzarella
  • garlic powder
  • baking powder
  • egg 
  • butter, melted
  • garlic, minced
  • freshly chopped parsley
  • freshly grated Parmesan
  • cream cheese
  • Kosher salt 
  • Marinara, warmed, for serving

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 c. finely ground almond flour
  • 1 c. shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 large egg 
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • Kosher salt 
  • Marinara, warmed, for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400°
  2. line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  3. In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, add mozzarella, cream cheese, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and a large pinch of salt. 
  4. Microwave on high until cheeses are melted, about 1 minute. Stir in egg. 
  5. Shape the dough into an oval ½” thick on a baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic, Parmesan, and parsley. Brush mixture over top of the bread.
  7. Bake until golden, 14 to 18 minutes. 
  8. Slice and serve with a marinara sauce for dipping.
